Videos and other equipment owned by the Club may be hired by current members, subject to the following provisions:
- Items hired must be signed for and a deposit, in the form of a cheque, left with the Treasurer or in the case of Videos, with the Chairman. The cheque will be returned to the hirer on return of the item in good condition.
- Videos shall not be copied. Returnable deposit: £10.00 per video.
- A charge will be made for the hire of equipment in addition to a returnable deposit.
- The hire period shall extend to the next scheduled meeting.
- The item shall be maintained in good condition by the hirer.
- Any faults or defects must be reported to the Chairman as soon as practicable. Faulty equipment must not be used in any circumstance.
Every effort is taken to ensure that the items hired are in a safe, usable condition. Hirers must ensure that they are able to use the items safely and understand that they do so entirely at their own risk; the Club will not accept any liability arising from the hire of its loan items.
