Each year we aim to hold a number of events such as visits to places of interest, giving demonstrations or having professional turners at the club.

Unless stated otherwise, events before February 2004 were held at Garton End Rd, between February 2004 and March 2005 at Sacrewell Farm and since then at Sacrewell Lodge Farm.

In February, we were treated to an exhibition by Barry of how he makes pens and the tools he uses, some of which he'd made himself. A lot of hard work went into preparing the visual aids Barry used and our thanks to Barry for an interesting and informative morning.

We managed to book the services of John Berkeley who is renowned for his work in the field of Victorian Screw Puzzles. Usually made out of exotic hardwoods or box, John recreates complex puzzles as made by the Victorians.
This was excellent day out for us all and as usual, started at 10:00 a.m. with an hour for lunch and a 4:30 finish.
